About The Nook

A comforting one-bedroom retreat

The Nook is a welcoming 1-bedroom chalet apartment designed for couples, parents of a baby or small child, or solo travellers seeking comfort and ease in the heart of Chamonix. We also invite up to three adults to stay, with a comfy sofa bed in the living area.

Thoughtfully laid out with a cosy living area and fully equipped kitchen, it offers a warm place to return to after days in the mountains. Ideal for both short, spontaneous stays, as well as longer stays unwinding in nature.

We stayed at Lucy's for the New Year, it was a great experience. Close to the city center, this accommodation is just perfect, it is large, equipped. Lucy and her husband are lovely and responsive!

Wonderful newly refurbished and well equipped chalet with two separate units. Very spacious and good value for money (compared to a lot of the very small studio style apartments on offer in Chamonix!). A short walk (5 minutes) to the centre of Chamonix and even closer to the Aiguille du Midi cable car, whilst also being conveniently located for the main road in to town or the bus station. The Nook - what a place. It was a perfect cosy but spacious place. It had everything you could ever need even lovely coffee. You are in a prime spot for both skiing and an amazing night life, short walks to the ski buses, bars, cafes a restaurants which Lucy gave amazing suggestions for all. Lucy was the perfect host and made our experience the best it could be making everything so simple and easy. WE WILL BE BACK.

Booking Terms

We are here to look after your moments, in the mountains…

Guests will get the best value booking directly with us with all-inclusive rates and no hidden cleaning or booking fees and direct communication with our team for quick responses before and during your stay.

Our team is more than happy to give you insider travel tips from locals who know Chamonix and the valley inside out, including reservations and discounts. Also, by booking directly you support the local economy and community of Chamonix Mont-Blanc.

Stay 7+ nights and get 10% off !

  • For all bookings, the total price includes:

    • Price per night for The Nook

    • Number of nights

    • TVA (VAT for booking)

    • Taxe de Sejour (the tourist tax calculated at a special rate for Chalet d’Honneur x per person x per night)

    • Standard cleaning and linen is included in the price.

  • Additional services could include:

    • Requested mid-week clean and new linen (for stays of 7+ nights)

    • Hiring of baby cot and/or high chair (€40 per stay)

    • Additional person (after 2 people) for The Nook (€50 per night)

    • Children under 2 stay free (max. 2 children)

  • Check-in and check-out times:

    • Check-in from 15:00 to 21:00

    • Check-out from 07:00 to 10:00

    • Unless requested a different time (additional charges may apply)

    Chalet rules for guests:

    • Smoking is not allowed.

    • Pets are not allowed for The Nook.

    • Parties/events are not allowed.

    • Quiet hours are between 22:00 and 06:00.

  • Payment Terms
    A deposit of 30% of the total accommodation price including VAT (TTC) is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation. The remaining balance is payable 14 days before arrival.

    Cancellation Policy
    • Cancellations made between 30 and 14 days before arrival will result in the deposit (30%) being retained.
    • Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival will result in 100% of the total accommodation price being retained.

    The tourist tax (taxe de séjour) is payable only if the stay takes place.

    A security bond of €300 for The Nook will be held (credit card pre-authorization ONLY)
